ENISIE supports EUvsVIRUS born to fight Covid-19
ENISIE supports EUvsVirus.org, the pan-European online Hackathon born to fight the consequences of the Pandemic by connecting people, innovators, partners and investors across Europe.
ENISIE has in its DNA all the values and potential of the social network, and the partners MaltaEnterprise, tree and Impact Hub Siracusa are already operational.
100 thousand euros to the winners
2100 solutions were submitted to EUvsVirus.org and 120 winners have already been identified. After the EUvsVirus hackathon, the winners will be invited to a Matchathon which will take place from 22 to 25 May on the new EIC COVID platform. The online event will facilitate comparison with end users (for example hospitals), and provide access to investors, companies, foundations and other funding opportunities across the EU.
The European Commission, led by the European Innovation Council and in collaboration with the EU Member States, hosted the follow-up program to help EUvsVirus Hackathon finalists and winners connect with companies, investors, accelerators, venture capitalists, etc. all over the world, and above all to produce their innovative solutions and, ultimately, save lives. The partner organizations will award 100 thousand euros to the winners.
DemoDay Challenge!
On May 21, the date of the Demo Day, some of the 120 winning projects will present their solutions to an audience of companies, investors, accelerators, venture capitalists and operators. For those wishing to collaborate on the Matchathon EUvsVirus, it could prove to be a good opportunity.
EUvsVirus is a pan-European Hackathon + Matchathon program organized by the European Commission under the patronage of Mariya Gabriel.
