The ENISIE project is part of the Interreg VA Italy-Malta program and was created with the aim of promoting the creation and the smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of enterprises (micro, small and medium-sized)and supporting the employment in the cross-border area in those sectors with a positive social and environmental impact through innovative services.

From the beginning of the project, the partners involved have mapped the territory, identified innovative companies worthy of support and worked on the development of a package of experimental services to encourage their development.

The companies benefiting from the services have been involved in a real tutoring and mentoring program structured around some of the central themes for business development. From the pitch deck to the business model canvas, from design thinking to the study of the market and competitors up to the financial instruments dedicated to startups and SMEs, such as microcredit, equity crowdfunding and venture capital.

Thanks to the innovative “learning by doing” approach and the alternation of workshops and theoretical and practical meetings, the beneficiary companies had the opportunity to professionally analyze their business model, identifying strengths, critical issues and development opportunities.

Thanks to access to Koiné –the first Mediterranean innovation platform created within the ENISIE project and open to all – the beneficiary companies had the opportunity to create their own company profile and market place, to promote its entrepreneurial activity and its services/products, networking and exchanging good practices with other users, activating cross-border synergies and internationalization in the EU-Med space with other innovative projects and companies.

Today the beneficiary companies – Gamastech, Marecamp, Morpheos, Horavision, Mangrovia, Fimmina, Huduma, Usteps – are about to complete their journey with ENISIE, a path that has led them to a greater awareness of their business reality, pushing them to work to strengthen the fundamental assets of their business, overcome critical issues related to the business and grasp the important opportunities offered by the territory, stakeholders and the strength of the network. ENISIE, with the experimental services offered, has provided them with the knowledge and tools to deal with the business world in a more structured way. Now it is up to them to maximize what they have learned and take off by finding their personal balance between “business” and ” social”.
